Evening Reception: Where and When: The evening drinks reception and buffet dinner will be held at Old College which is only a short walk from The University of Edinburgh Conference and Training Centre, 11 South College Street, where the conference itself is taking place. On the conference map you can see the conference site, "UNIVED", and just behind it, Old College. The drinks reception will take place in the Raeburn Room from 7 p.m. with the buffet dinner in the Playfair Library at 7.30 p.m. The Raeburn Room (Room 104) is located on the ground floor of Old College (South side, Administrative Offices entrance). The Playfair Library (Room 227) is located on the first floor of Old College (South side, Administrative Offices entrance). If you are in any doubt about the location, please ask conference staff on the day to assist you, maps and directions will be available. Old College is the original site of the University of Edinburgh, made up of many historical and beautiful buildings. The Playfair Library itself is a magnificent venue which we hope you will enjoy. Please let us know if you need help accessing the building, for example if you require access to a lift.
